Combine Natural Potential and Human Resources, Ketapanrame Village for Flood Tourists

More or less six years ago, Ketapanrame Village, Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java was completely unknown to the wider community.

The village area which consists of three hamlets, namely Ketapanrame Hamlet, Sukorame Hamlet, and Slepi Hamlet has recently become a public conversation, including going viral on social media. This was after the Ghanjaran Park became a new tourist attraction in East Java.

Apparently behind the making of the instagramable Ghanjaran Park there is an interesting story. This tourist object was built from the results of a combination of natural potential and local residents. In fact, the villagers worked hand in hand to develop this Ghanjaran Park with their own money, effort and thoughts at the start of the pandemic storm

Ketapanrame Village does have a suitable geography to be a tourist attraction. This 345,460 hectare village is located at an altitude of 800 to 1,200 meters above sea level (masl). Interestingly, this village is flanked by Mount Welirang and Mount Pengungunan.

The villagers are known to work diligently, both in the fields and fields, as well as in government and private offices. It was from these two potentials that Village Head H Zainul Arifin SE had the idea to combine them with building the Ghanjaran Park. As a result, the village is flooded with tourists. Various achievements were pinned in this village. The village progresses, the people's economy also increases.

"I'm just trying to combine the potential of natural resources (SDA) and human resources (HR) in this village. The residents of this village are known to be very diligent in working both in the fields, rice fields and civil and private employees," said Zainul when contacted by poskota.co.id some time ago.

Ketapanrame village has an allocation of village funds (ADD) of IDR 475 million and village funds (DD) of IDR 760 million. Plus PAD of around Rp. 256 million and BHPR (Tax and Retribution Revenue Sharing) of around Rp. 355 million, bringing the total 2020 budget to Rp. 1.8 billion. The previous year's value was around IDR 2.1 billion, but there are several budget items that no longer appear in the 2020 fiscal year.
